Service offered: The Indian Air Force modernized their storage with ALMERIO’s state-of-the-art modern storage systems.
Problem Statement: The Indian Air Force wanted to modernize their storage systems for storage of documents and records. Their existing systems were outdated, hard to access, had weak security and used too much space. For components, height of entire hangar was available for storing.
Solution: ALMERIO designed and supplied specialized storage solutions for the Indian Air Force. For documents and records, the high-density systems were supplied, while for storing aircraft components, two-tier storage with catwalk and mezzanine was designed. The high-density storage had the following characteristics:
- Strong and sturdy construction.
- Easy movement on rails with anti-toppling/tipping features.
- Index card-holders for easy organization and quick retrieval of records.
- Maximum space utilization.
- High security with system-level locking facility.
